On Friday morning the 15th, we got up around 6:15 a.m. we left Melodys house around 7:20 a.m. and headed to David and Jamie Spiveys in Shelbville, Indiana. It was a five hour drive. Jamie called us enroute to see what time we would be arriving and said that Cayden was so excited about us coming. We got there a little after one p.m. We had a great weekend with them. Both boys are getting so big. Cayden will be three years old Oct. 5th. He talks so plain and is so smart and cute. Of course, Keegan is a cutie too. When the boys got up from their nap we headed to Indy. It was such a beautiful day. They have bikes you can rent, one seater, two seater and on up. They also have a gondola, paddle boats etc.... that you can ride around the canal there. Well we rented the 6 seater bike. On the front it had a place for the boys to ride, then two seats, two seats. Everyone pedals, but only one person controls the breaks which happened to be Brother Spivey. He is such a hoot. He kepted scaring me and Jamie by acting so silly, like getting to close to the water, heading down inclines. But it was a blast. Then afterwards we were starving, so we went and ate at PennStation there which was so good. Then we went to Toys R US so we could buy the boys b-day gifts, we missed Keegans and Caydens will be coming up. Then we made another stop on the way home. I was so tired. Totally wiped out. On Sat. they have a early morning prayer meeting from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. So we went to that. That was so wonderful. Gods presence was so near. They live right next door to the church. We didn't do a whole lot. After prayer meeting, Jamie made a wonderful brunch. Then David and David Spivey and Cayden went out calling. Jamie and I and Keegan went to Wal-Mart. We just kind of hung out all day, I helped Jamie clean the church as it was their turn. Their church is big. I did all the vacuuming. She did some downstairs. Sunday we went to church. They had 103 people there. They have a Spanish work there. Davis is the youth pastor. We had a wonderful service there. The Lords presence was so near. Jamie made a wonderful dinner. We headed for home around 2:30 p.m. Arrived home around 7:30. It was great to go away, but great to get home, and now I am back to work.

Our trips that we took on our vacation

We were on vacation again on Aug. 11th- 17th. We took some mini trips. On Tuesday, the 12th we took our pastor Brother Dodd and his family down to Amish country for the day. It was a lot of fun. It is very beautiful country there. If you have never been there, it is well worth it, there is so much to do and see. First off, we went to Lehmans Hardware in Kidron, from there went to Heinis Cheese factory, where the kids enjoyed watching how they make cheese, and getting to sample all different kinds. From there we visited Yoders Amish Farm, where the kids and Brother Dodd took a horse and buggy ride. I bought Karen an amish doll, and Kameron an amish hat. From there we went to the Der Dutchman Resturant and ate. We had a fun filled day.
