Hello Everyone,
It has been a long time since I have posted any new pictures. So here are a lot of pictures from over the last few months.

The first batch are at my daughters, back in May, when my sisters, nieces, and great nephews came to visit. I went down there too. One of my pastors daughter Lauren at my work. Pictures of Ali at the hospital when she had tubes put in her ears.

On Wed. April 22 we went down to Melodys to Ali's 1st birthday party and to see Mike one last time before he left. Her party was very nice, and Melody made these cupcakes and decorated them. Didn't she do an awesome job?

Then we took her to Ford Lake in Ypsilanti. It is beautiful there. You can walk all the way around. She loved holding Nikkis leash. But the poor girl her shoes were hurting her, but she wouldn't let her daddy carry her, as she wanted to hold Nikki's leash. She just endured the pain. Then on the way home she crashed.

Sorry the first half of the pictures was Kayleigh at my house playing with Ocean and Nikki. Then we took her to the pet store. I fell in love with this puppy but not with the price. He was a Westy terrier puppy just like our Mopsy that we had to put to sleep at Christmas time. He was so cute. But no more dogs. Justin has two that is enough. lol

On the first Wed. in April which is my moms birthday, I took my parents down to my daughters for the day. We went shopping at an Outlet Mall, and took a train ride, went out to eat, and visited at my daughters. It was a lot of fun.

Back before Easter I spent a couple hours with Kayleigh. We went to Target where I bought her , her 23rd pair of shoes and then we went out to lunch. It was a lot of fun.

Hello Everyone, I know it has been awhile since I have blogged. To much going on in my life. I will say I am back to work full-time which that in itself keeps me hopping, trying to keep up with my house, laundry, my oldest son Ryan flew in on April 14th and was here through April 23rd. Went down to my daughters on Wed. April 22nd, to celebrate my granddaughters Ali"s first birthday and see my son-in-law one last time before he left for Iraq. Went down on Friday to Sandusky,Ohio to visit my niece in the hospital who had another new baby boy on Thursday, Weston Lee. He weighed 5 lbs. 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. He has a brother Jayden who will be one on May 8th. Ali will actually be one on May 2nd. But we celebrated it early so her daddy could be here.

So I am just going to post a bunch of pictures. If you have any questions you can write and ask me about them.

Valentine Couples Dinner

On Friday the 13th, David and I hosted a Valentine Couple's Dinner at our home. We had a very nice dinner of breaded boneless pork chops, bake potatoes, corn, broccoli, aisian salad, homemade rolls, two different kinds of strawberry cake, strawberry creme pie, chocolate chip cookie, vanilla ice cream, and pop and coffee.

We were asking different questions like how they met, how long they dated, how long they had been married, then we played a couple games, pass the hershery kiss, when the music stopped the couple who had the hershery kiss had to kiss and they were out of the game, the last one who was in had to kiss and got the hershery kiss.

Then we played like the NewlyWed game, but with approriate questions of course, the guys went out of the room, the women were asked questions, then the men came back in and we had to see how they answered, then the same with the women. David and I came in last. lol We will be married 29 years April 26th. The Dodds had to bring their kids, as they didn't have a babsitter. But it was ok, they stayed in my bedroom and played and listened to story CDs.

At the end we sat around and talked till about 10:30 p.m. After everyone lefted David and I cleaned up the house and got it all back in order.

On Thursday the 29th of Jan. I went down to Ohio to my daughters for the day. My son Brad was going down there to work on Melody and Mikes computers, so he asked me to go along, of course he knew I wouldn't mind at all. That I would love for an excuse to go down and visit my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. I can't say it wasn't a nerve wracking trip because of the roads as it was. I was a nervous wreck by the time we got there. Anyways Gage was so excited to see his grandma. This grandma was excited to see him and Ali. lol I just hung out playing with the kids, and enjoying them, visiting with my daughter and son-in-law. We didnot leave to come home till that evening around 10 p.m. Once again, I was a nervous wreck coming home. The roads weren't real bad, but Brad says they weren't bad at all and they were. I am petrified of snow and icey roads. We made it home safely around 1:30 a.m. Here are some pictures that I took and videos . Hope you enjoy. I just love showing off my grandkids. :)

My day of scrapbooking

About two weeks ago, on a Thursday I went over to Linda Rapers home for an afternoon of scrapbooking. She has so much stuff, which I have a lot to, but she has so much more than I. I also took the two oldest of our pastors children, and their friends, Madison and Chapman Yancey who had spent the night with them. The Dodd kids like to scrapbook too. They were only there for about a hour, and was very upset when their dad came to pick them up and take them home. But they found out, they were going to ride their four wheelers, and play in the snow with the Yancey kids, so they were happy about that. So I spent the rest of the evening with Linda. It was a lot of fun. I love to scrapbook. I wish I had more time to do so. We try to get together everytime we can. Here are a few pictures from it.

Christmas 2008

Well here it is already Jan. 16th, 2009. Where has the time gone? The month of November and December was a very busy one. In December, I did two Taste Fests for Bride and grooms with David, a Trade Show up at Birch Run, we had a Company Christmas Dinner, Church Christmas Dinner, Church Christmas Program. It just seemed that something was always going on. But it was a good month.

The only bad part, was when we had to put our dog Mopsy down, three days before Christmas, Dec. 22nd. That was terrible. He had been sick, was coughing very bad, was blind, could hardly hear, and was starting to wet in the house, we knew it was time to do it. Dec. 22nd, was a very hard day. David and Brad took him to the Humane Society in Westland. They were very kind. But I know it was for the best. He was suffering and was 20 years old. If you ever have owned a dog for a while you will understand.

Christmas Eve, I had to finish up shopping, and getting my house in order, then we went over to my parents at about 4 p.m. David had worked until 3. We had pizza and pop and visited with my parents, and my brother and wife came too. We came home that evening and had some friends from church over Steve and Renita. We played Apples to Apples and Mexican Train Dominoes. We also ordered some more pizza, and had snacks. They stayed until midnight. Also, Justins girlfriend Brittany had arrived around 6 pm. along with her dog Puggles. We ended up exchanging some gifts that night. Justin gave David and I our gift, which was new speakers for our computer. Our gift from Brad was a new computer and printer, which is awesome, we had got that back in Oct. or Nov. It is our birthday and Christmas gifts for quite a while. lol Britt got David a book he wanted, and she got me a really nice sweater.

Christmas Morning David and I got up around 9 a.m. We had so much to do to prepare for our dinner. We started right in, putting a ham on, doing the turkey and stuffing, preparing the potatoes, doing desserts. Plus, I did some odds and ends around the house. Plus, we gave the boys, and Brittany their gifts and stocking stuffers. Oh yes, we have sight and speed on our computer so we were able to see Gage after he had opened up his gifts. He was so excited to show us his new fire engine he had got.

Around 3 p.m. or so Ryan called and said they had landed at Metro, so Brad went to pick up him and his girlfriend Ariana. They flew in from CA. We were very excited to see them, as we have not seen them since last Dec. 2007. Mike, Melody, and the kids arrived around the same time that they got here from the airport. It was kind of crazy. Gage was so excited to see his grandparents and to open gifts. We decided to open gifts before we ate, as I was having more people coming. It was kind of crazy when we were opening gifts, but fun, especially watching the grandkids open theirs. We gave all the kids money and a gift and stocking stuffers, the grandkids gifts to open and stocking stuffers. This was our first year to be all together since 2002 or 2003. It was so exciting. Technically my gift from my kids was a Dyson Vacuum that was given to me back in the fall, but Ryan also had me a Picture Calender made, and his dad also had him make one from him. That was awesome. Two calenders with pictures of my family on each page. I love it. Then from Gage and Ali, Melody got me a beautiful quilt that says Grandmas Garden and she put pictures on it, and a picture calender with the grand kids pictures in it. I was so excited. I am sorry, but if you all think I'm nuts, I just love pictures especially of my grandkids. I just love spending time with them. Pictures are priceless to me. They are memories. Also, my daughter had Alis footprint made. Last year she had Gages handprint done. I just love this kind of stuff. After all the gifts exchange, we had dinner. I made turkey, stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes, gravey, corn, green beans, potatoe salad, yams, rolls, chocolate cream pie, strawberry pie, strawberry cheese cake, angel food cake shaped like an angel, ice cream dessert, ricekrispy treats, my sil made fudge etc.. So we defintely had enough to eat. The angel food cake was made into an angel, as we wanted to teach Gage what Christmas is really about, so we put a candle on it, and we all sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, and had him blow the candle out.

Around 6:30 p.m. or so, my sister Angela and her husband and two children arrived from TN Also, Ryans best friend Chris and his wife and two girls Hannah and Chloe came over, then my parents, my brother Rick and wife Diane came over, and two dogs. Everyone was everywhere, playing apples to apples, air hockey, on the computer, talking eating, we took a lot of pictures. My sister has not been up here for Christmas since she has moved. Everyone stayed till 11:30 p.m, except of course my kids. My poor daughter along with everyone else didnot get a lot of sleep that night, Ali screamed her head off. She did not like the pack and play. She wanted her own room and bed.

On Friday the 26th we woke up to hear it freezing rain. We had a picture appointment at 11:30 a.m. which I cancelled and made it for 1 p.m. because of the weather. The roads were terrible. We were going to have to drive to Northville to Potrait Innovations. We got Family pictures done, they took around 93 they did an awesome job and quick. Then while they were doing them we went over to Bahama Breeze and ate dinner. Then went back and picked up our photos and came home. Mike went and crashed on the loveseat. Mostly everyone was kind of laying or sitting around for awhile. Then Chris and Christal and kids came over again. We just ate and played games all evening.

Sat. morning David had to work, well poor Justin had to work Friday morning and Sat. morning. He didnot get a lot of sleep with everyone here, as he was having to lay in the living room, he had to be at work on Friday at 3 a.m. and Sat. at 4 a.m. On Sat. we all went to Great Lake Crossing. David went to work, Mike headed home, he was going to go deer hunting. So the rest of us spent the day out at Great Lake Crossing, Chris and Christal and kids met us there too. It was a lot of fun. We got home that evening, and just played some more games. Ali didn't sleep to good at my house the whole weekend. I guess she don't like grandmas house. :(

Sunday we woke up to no power. Our power went out at around 5 a.m. because of the high winds we had. I nearly croaked. So we didn't get to church. Thankfully I could still use my burners on my stove, to cook and heat the house with. It didnot get to bad in here tho. Of course, Ryan and Ariana always thought it was freezing in here. They are used to CA temps. lol They lefted around 11 to go see Kayleigh his daughter. David and I prepared dinner, which we had taken over to the house by our church that used to be used for the teachers, to use their oven. Our power came back on around 11:30 a.m. for which I was so thankful. We ate around 1 p.m. My parents came over later in the afternoon to visit. My sister and family had lefted on Sat. Melody lefted to go back Sunday night. Chris and Christal came over again Sunday evening.

Ryan and Ariana were here till Jan. 6th. I went out with them on Tues, Wed., Friday, and Monday with Kayleigh. Tuesday we took her to get pictures done with Ryan, and one of her alone, at the same place, took her over to my parents where she opened her gifts from me, and my parents, Wed. took her to Cabellas, and the mall, Thursday Ryan didn't have her till evening, he went over to Chris's and watched the RedWings play, then they all went Ice Skating and then he took Kayleigh to the movies. Friday we went down to Hockey Town Cafe, Ryan had never been there and wanted to go, so me, David, Justin, Ryan and Ariana, Chris, Christal and kids, and Chris's kids went. It was really nice. We took a bunch of pictures for Ryan. He loves the Red Wings. Then we came home. That evening Davids mom and sister Kathy came over for awhile. They wanted to see Ryan.
Sat. David and I had a Bridal Show to do at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, MI. Ryan and them were home, Melody and the kids arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon. We got home around 6. We made dinner, ate and just sat around and played some games. We did bring Kameron over for awhile to play with Gage and then Melody and I took him home and we went to Krogers to pick up a few things.

Sunday, Melody and the kids went to church with us. Then we came home and ate dinner. We went down to my brothers and spent the afternoon, Ryan and Ariana and Kayleigh was there. Then they left around 5 and took the kids to Ceasar Land, then Mel was headed for home. I went home and then went to church.

Monday, David and Justin both took the flu. We were suppose to go out to dinner as a family for Ryans last night with us, but that didn;t happen. I just cleaned the house on Monday, then Ryan, and I and Ariana left to pick up Kayleigh we took her out to eat at Texas Roadhouse, then to a dog store, and Michaels, then to Coldstone. Then back to her mom. I was really worried that Brad and I would take it, but thank God we never have. My mom was very sick too, she had the flu, strep throat, and ear infection, infact, she is still sick. Ended up back at the doctors yesterday. On Monday night I slept on the loveseat, at I was trying to avoid at all cost. lol I took Ryan and Ariana to the airport on Tuesday at 5 a.m. I came back and crashed on the couch. That day all day long, I cleaned, scrubbed everything, did laundry trying to get rid of the sickness. David was fine on Tuesday he went to work.

New Years Eve didn't really do anything, went to church, then came home and we had Steve and Renita over and we ordered pizza and played some games to midnight. They left and we were in bed by 12:30 We were tired. New Years day didn't do anything.

I had to make a quick trip down to my daughters on Friday the 9th. Ali had been in the hospital since Tuesday the 6th, and I was needed to babysit Gage, as Mike had Drill on Sat. and Sunday. So I was so nervous as we got that snow storm, and it was worse in Ohio. I traveled down to Akron. Ali was in Childrens Hospital there. The one nice thing, is we got to stay at the Ronald McDonald house that night. I brought Gage over to the hospital which was right across the street. We stayed there until Ali got discharged. Then we went back over to the Ronald McDonald house to get our stuff, and clean the room, and we left for Mels. She lives around 1 hour away, and with bad roads, it took us longer. We got to her house unloaded, and Mel put kids down for naps, and we started cleaning her house and doing laundry. I stayed down there until Sunday afternoon. Arrived home around 8 p.m. The roads were pretty good.

I hope I don't bore you to death. But I enjoy letting you know what has been going on in my life, and I love posting pictures. I also love reading other peoples blogs, and looking at their pictures. Thanksgiving 2008

Well here I am updating again. I have posted a lot of pictures and videos, but it will probably be after Christmas before I do anymore updating. We were very blessed this Thanksgiving to get to spend it with Mike, Melody, Gage and Ali. They usually go to his parents, but this year decided to have us come down there. I lefted on Wed. morning the 26th at around 5:30 a.m. I was going to leave on Tuesday evening, but was feeling pretty rough as I had went to the doctor that morning to find out I had sinusititis again. So they put me on a pretty strong antibiotic and told me to drink lots of fluid, because I was starting to dehydrate again. Anyways, Gages Preschool Thanksgiving program was that morning. We had to leave Mels by 9:30 a.m. It is about a 3 and ahalf hour drive. I arrived in plenty of time. Anyways we went to his school, where his daddy and his papaw and nana were already there. It was a very cute program. It is so cute to watch the little kids. They just sang a few songs. I videotaped it, which I have posted one of them. Then they had like a brunch I guess afterwards. We left there around 11:00 or so and went back to Melodys. Was there a few minutes, then Melody,I and the kids left to go shopping. We didn't arrive back at her house until 5 or so. We went to an Outlet Mall in Lodi, then to Buehlers, and Super Wal-Marts. It was fun. That evening didn't do anything except after dinner Melody and I and Ali had to make another trip up to Wal_marts. She had forgot somestuff. Then we came back to her house and I just sat around for awhile then I went downstairs to where I was sleeping. I used Justins bed that was still there. Actually all of his belongings were still there. He had moved down there the beginning of Oct. and had come home on election day, and ended up staying looking for a job up here. He finally found one about a week ago at PetSmart. He usually works 4 am- 11 am he really likes it. Thanksgiving DAvid and the boys came down for the day. They had to go back that night as Justin and Brad had to work on Friday and David on Sat. So they loaded up all of Justins belongings or all that they could fit in his van. It was packed. They lefted what they couldn't bring with them for me to bring when i came home. Thanksgiving was a fun day. We had dinner around 1:30 p.m. David and I and Melody was the ones who prepared it. We had turkey, stove top stuffing, mash potatoes, gravey, corn, green beans, deviled eggs, potatoe salad, rolls, yams etc.... pumpkin pie, and strawberry cheese cake and punch. Brad worked on Mikes laptop that he just bought installed a web cam on their regular computer, and installed the sight and sound website or whatever you want to call it so we can get on and I can see the grandchildren. We already do that with Ryan. It is so neat to be able to see him clear in CA. David did a couple of things that Mel needed done. After Gage got up from his nap, him and grandpa put his Gingerbread house together. Gage was so excited about that. I am sure David enjoyed doing it with him. I just sat there and took pictures and video taped some of it. David, and the boys finally left around 9:15 p.m. I was quite worried about them. Brad did the driving. Justin only got around 2 hours sleep before he had to be at work. They got home around 12:30 a.m. At around 4:00 a.m. Mel woke me so I could go upstairs and lay on the couch, as I watched the kids while they went Christmas Shopping. Ali woke up right after they left so I had to feed her. She went right back to sleep. She is so precious. It was so great getting to feed her and hold her close . This was the first time I have got to watch the kids. It was a joy. Gage woke up at 7:30 a.m. They say he gets up at that time every morning no matter what time he goes to bed at night. He will usually get up go into their room and say wake up its port a clock. It is so funny. He didn't this morning, as he realized his mommy and daddy were not there. I said Gage grandma is watching you. He just came and climbed on the couch with me. I put on cartoons for him after Melody explained how to do it. lol Ali woke back up around 8:45 a.m. and she was pretty wet through her clothes. I had to give her a bath which was my first time and it was great. Then I put a sleeper on her that I had bought her that I Love Grandma. When Mel came home she said how can I guess that you would put that sleeper on her???? lol I gave Gage his breakfast. They came home around 10:30 or so. Mel made breakfast which was very good. Her best friend Chris and two kids, came over to and had breakfast with us. Actually Chris made some pancakes. Then I took a quick shower, got dressed to head out. Mike watched Jax and Gage, and Mel and Chris took Ali and Braden. They went to Kohls, I went to JC Penneys and Super Wal-Mart. I wanted to pick some stuff up before one as that is when some of their really good bargains ended. Melody and Mike got a lot of good bargains. Got a lot of their Christmas shopping done. Really didn't do much the rest of the afternoon. That evening they put up their Christmas tree and I helped Gage put the ornaments on the tree. Ali was really cranky as she was not feeling well at all. Her poor nose was running continually. I will have to admit while sleeping downstairs, I kepted lights on . I am a big chicken. Sat. morning around 9:30 a.m. we left the house as Melody had a doctors appt. with the dermatogist sp? and then we headed for the mall in FairLawn. We had planned on doing a lot that day, but time got away, as unbeknown to Melody, Mike and Chris had planned a Surprise Birthday party for her that evening. i was to have her back home by 4:30 p.m. As the party was to start at 5 or so. Chris had told Mel that she was taking her out to eat, and I was suppose to be babysitting the kids. Anyways, at the mall Melody found Ali a very cute Christmas outfit to have her picture taken in. From there we went to Kiddie Kandids where they had their Christmas pictures taken. Mike met us there and so did his parents. The kids did a great job with their pictures. Then from there we went and got some lunch and then Mike left and we went to Build A Bear. Mikes parents had given him a gift card for there for his birthday. He just loved it. He picked out a horse. He named him Buggy. He picked out a Nascar outfit for him. So I took pictures of him there and a video. Then his parents left and we went and picked up the pictures. Well by that time we were suppose to be leaving, but I couldn't get Mel to leave. She ended up at another store. So while she was in there I called Chris and told her I couldn't get her to leave. Mel had stated that she had notmade plans until 5 or 6. I knew differently. Anyways to long of a story to tell you what ended up happening on the way home. But we didn't to go to any other stores, like Sprint, or Old Navey or to Connors grave. I had planned to go there and place something on his grave for Christmas. We got back to Mels and she hurried and changed clothes, Chris came to pick her up, and they left. Chris just drove around with her for a bit. In the meantime, Justin and Brad both had come down as Brad had taken their one computer home to work on it, as it was in a mess, oh this is funny as Gage was so upset when he realized that he was taking the computer home with him. He came upstairs on Thanksgiving night wringing his hands, saying what am I going to do? What am I going to do? Bradley is taking the puter home and now I won't be able to play Thomas. It was so cute. He also would like his nose and then he told his mom, he sneezed backwards. lol He says the cutest things. Anyways, Brad and Justin had been at the house, but they had left when we were coming there, so Mel wouldn't know. Then after she left I called and told them it was safe so they came and helped me get the kids in car seats and in Mels car. Gage didn't understand what we were doing, especially why I was taking his moms car. The party was at her friends clubhouse which was only 5 minutes away. I got over there and her friend Ann Marie, the ultrasound tech that had given her the ultrasound when she found out about Connor. She is still very good friends with her. Right after that Mike called Chris and told her to come. Mel was very surprised until she got of the car to come in, and then she saw Mikes shirt and saw the lights go out. Then she knew something was going on, but didn't know who was there. It was all of Mikes family, his parents, two brothers, wife, girlfriend, and kids, and Brother and Sister Davis who is the pastor of where they go to church when they go, and another friend of hers and her husband who just not very long ago had a preemie. I turned out very nice. Mike also surprised Mel by renewing their vows. It was very lovely. Melody was very surprised about that, she had no idea Mike would do that. It was so nice. I video taped that. The only bad part of the evening was my asthma flared up really bad for some reason. It was horrible. Sunday afternoon we headed home around 1:15 p.m. Got home around 4:30. I had a wonderful time at my daughters. Enjoyed being with her, Mike and my grandkids. I am so thankful that i got to spend Thanksgiving with them.

Well this evening, I was working on my blog, when Mel called and ask me to get on my webcam. So I did. Gage had never seen anything like this. I wish I could have taken a picture of his expression on his face. He was in shock when Melody showed him me and said Gage, there is Grandma. He was like wow!!!!! He was so excited and just kept bouncing around until he fell off the chair and she took it away from him and made him stand. I also got to see Ali. It is so neat. So I chatted with Gage for a few. They had made some cinnamon rolls, and were showing them to me and eating them, trying to make me jealous. lol Well I am sorry this is so long, but I had a lot to tell. We are in revival at our church with Brother Royce Bates. The revival started on Friday evening the 24th and goes through this Sunday the 2nd. On Sunday night, our pastor and his family sang. They sung Born To Serve The Lord. Kameron just loves to sing. He gets it from his dad. So I went to the back of the church to do a video clip of it. The problem is, there were some heads in the way in the beginning, and I did move up a pew so my camera kind of was moved around. But the one head did move, so you can see them. They did a great job. So I have a posted the video clip. I hope you enjoy. Their youngest Lauren is going to be just like her brother Kameron. When we start singing in church, she gets a book stands on the pew and sings with everyone else. It is so cute. She also will raise her hand, and the one time she dropped the book and raised both hands, and looked towards the heavens.
